Hi,

I own a 2023 500 e for a few months. It is a second hand car with around 4000 km’s on the clock. Now I am experiencing some warning messages when the car is put in to ready mode.

First warning: Check Electronic parking brake

Second warning: Check SOS system

Third warning: Check Airbag

Does anyone know what the cause can be of these warning messages? And if there is a correlation between al 3 of them at the same time. I have disconnected and reconnected the 12v battery already, but that did not help.

The car is able to drive. Thanks for your reactions.

Sounds like loose wiring under the seat. A Fiat dealer should fix it as their's a recall for it.

If the car is in Ready Mode, disconnecting the 12V battery has no effect, as the 12V system is being powered by the dc-dc converter.

Hey im having this exact issue. I went to the dealer ship and they said there are 2 known issues however they are reluctant to fix mine because they ran the diagnostic and everything is fine. My warranty is also expiring soon. Im so pissed off with them. Why cant they just fix it if is a known issue.

Fiat dealers are next useless these days, all the old longstanding ones have gone

They really are! The lady told basically told me if the issue happens again to drive to the dealership - when my airbag is off. Im calling fiat customer care tomorrow. Aside from the dealership Where else can we go when these issues occur? Its my first car so I dont have much experience.

Unfortunately you need to ‘shop around’ for other Fiat dealers, something which is increasingly rare round here, especially as it’s under warranty and an outstanding recall

A quick follow up. I scanned the car for trouble codes. It could be related to code U0452-64 invalid data received from SRS module. See screenshot.

The garage solved the issue by replacing the seatbelt lock on the driver side.
