phone data lead help needed

i bought a data lead for my phone to send stuff to the pc and vice versa. BUT it dont seem to wont to work i've installed drivers but when i click on the icon on my desk top it comes up "cannot open the port and this program is switched in offline mode. After, try to switch in online" :confused what does it mean they aint no options in the window i have found to switch to online

Never used one, but looking to get one for Jules' Nokia 6101, and noted there are different leads available, that look similar.

Well ive not used mine in a while but if i remember rightly you had to do something with your fonebook, if it loaded up on comp screen it was online.

Where you buy the cable from??
