Permanent live feed for Satnav

Just got an Idea 2 days ago coming from a Citroen Xsara. The Xsara had permanent live cigarette lighter sockets but the Idea doesn't.

It was nice to have the Garmin not ask me if I wanted to switch to battery power each time I switched off the ignition so I would like to make myself a permanent live feed form somewhere under the dash and wire this to a third socket which I have found lying around.

Does anybody know the easiest place to find a permanent live feed?

Yep. Hazzard light switch (depending upon location), on all old Fiats (like my Panda) they're permantly live and on the same feed as the interior clock, and hazzards, which is the only thing iirc that isn't switched by the ignition barrel.

some head units are ignition controlled, if its not aftermarket i suspect yours might be. Hazards be best bet dependent on location. If you have an analogue style clock too, that will have permanent feed to it.
