Since January this year when I set up my new Paypal account I have made two Ebay purchases and one purchase from a car audio website. All transactions went through fine and all items arrived on time so thought nothing of it.
However, today when reviewing my account history I noticed that all three payments had initially been taken from my card, under the title of 'payment recieved - credit card', as expected but then the actual payment made to a name of 'Khalid Deen'? At first I thought I'd bought all three things from the same person on Ebay but then noticed it was from different buyers and usernames and then thought it was highly unlikely that the car audio website also had the same 'name' working for them too? I expected each of my Ebay payments to say they had been made to either Ebay or the username of the person I bought the item from. Same with the car audio website. I expected it to say 'Car Audio Direct' rather than some random 'Khalid Deen'?
Is this a dummy name that Paypal use for transactions or should I be worried? Everything has gone fine with the items I bought and no suspicions arisen. No other moneys have been attempted to be taken or taken from my account either?
