ive done lots of repairs on mine and all brand new stuff apart from a few scrappy items but they still going at the moment :) but i agree the more you replace the less things to go wrong...dont jinx yourself now :p

but id do your reasearch before jumping the gun of saying bye bye to punto, phone up a few insurance brokers and thye should be able to point you in right direction, i did this last august when before that my old insurance they were nothing but pigs their attitude stunk so i said fcuk off! :D (so immature i know!)

then found my current insurance through a broker and never been so happy about insurance, cheap as peanuts to me as i still have loads of money left over each month its great :D and it's fully comp too!

benny

Yeah i mean ive been fully comp and paid for EVERYTHING myself from day 1. i need to wait till this claim has all gone through ect. then shop around and see what i can get!

haha its a mission for me im doing 142 miles staying at travel lodge that night then going london to see a friend then another 142 miles back :D but honestly i've saved a bit of money on the side for brooklands cause i didnt wanna miss it :)

Be good to see your punto if you intend on getting rid of it :)

Liam I'm not being funny mate but I think you should keep your car, its not always about the speed or reliabilty, its about character, ive driven nearly every small car from clios to corsas and nothing compares to my punto its just never seems to bore me, my friends are driving round in golf gtis and Audi a4 2.0 turbos and it just doesn't bother me that I can't keep up because I know that I'm having more fun than them!

Oh and if you think that your insurance is bad, I am an apprentice mechanic, I earn the ****test wages and I pay £2200 on my mums insurance, last year I was paying £3500 my insurance at the moment takes up more than half my wages lol, I'm looking forward to seeing you guys at brooklands!!

Yeah id love to carry on with this little beauty, but my insurance is going to go up to over £4000.. im paying £3800 as it stands :/ i dont care about speed if im honest, i just like to cruise listen to my music. all my friends are in there 2L's ect ect but i dont care anymore :) i get there abit slower but save about £20 on fuel so im happy! the insurance is the only thing that is knocking me about keeping it. i didnt really wanna pay £3800. Once this claim is all sorted im going to decide what to do and whats best,
also im afraid i cant make it to brooklands due to family issues.
Yeah times are hard in my household atm but Onwards and upwards!
