hi! i am going mad! i have a punto elx speedgear (rose) and i think she's haunted! whenever i put my foot on the brake or put the left indicator on, the wee "R" indicating reversing comes on and beeps (very irritating). when i put it in park it stops, then put it back in drive and it goes great, until i put my foot on the brake or flick the left indicator on! the reverse light doesn't come on when this happens,and there is no change in the engine, can anyone help? or should i go straight to an exorcist?! thanks!

bad earth on rear light, remove light and clean up all the bulb sockets and plug

thanks dave! you were right, i took the light off and cleaned it all out and the beeps have stopped. not a huge job, i know, but i did it myself and if felt good telling my dad, who was "advising" me to take it to a garage! thanks for my chuffy feeling!
