Have you got a car in mind.... when i first passed my test my insurers said to either get a nissan micra or a punto for a nice cheap to insure car.

Dont forget to do your pass plus - knocks 30% off your premium with certain insurers (both admiral and elephant do)

If you can when you are insured, to build up your NC bonus have your own insurance, dont go on anyones policy, but you can add mum/dad as a named driver and this will lower your premium even forther

Thank you. I'll probably do the pass plus, it's only 6 more hours of my life and the help on motorways would be good, joining dual carriageways still makes me nervous.

I did a quote for a girl on here who was 23 and it was on a 16v NA came up at over 4k... it should really be NAC.... (Not A Chance)

So for a 20VT be prepared to sell your mother lol
