PARTS FROM OTHER MODELS THAT FIT OURS!

I've just fitted some parts that you guys may find of interest. Firstly, a Punto Abarth steering wheel bolted straight on. Just need to connect the horn. Goodridge braided hoses for the Coupe are the same on the back (if you have discs) and I've just fitted a complete clutch from the later 176 BHP Alfa 156 2.4 JTD to my 130 Weekend. The Alfa parts are usually cheaper 'cos they're more common and probably made to a higher spec!!

Very good to know about the clutch.

I can say so far that a lot of mafs from the alfa/lancia/fiat range works on a 2.4jtd including petrol models! just the plastic tubing is slightly different.
I bolted a whole unit from a 159 1.9jtd into mine and she runs like a dream.

Very good post. I bet alot of parts from across the range are interchangeable, I can just never get on that e.per to compare them.

This could be a solution to that old remapped clutch problem, I wonder will the standard clutch or even flywheel from the alfa/fiat 16vJTD fit the 8valve engine. Its got to be stronger to cope with the extra power.
