Fitted a tow bar a while ago and as expected this has upset the parking/reverse sensors.

The thing now throws out a long beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep when selecting reverse and serves no useful purpose anymore. Theres no help reversing.

My elearn cd is refusing to show me diagrams so doues anyone know where the fuse or multiplug connector fro the system is so I can disable it??

Thanks,
Steve

Hi Steve,
that seems simple. I made the same experience a couple of weeks ago when I routed the wire-harness for a tow-bar project with my Doblo. It may easily happen to accidentally disconnect one or more sensors when you remove or reassemble the bumper-cover. The leads are pretty short. So, check the connections. Perhaps one or more plugs are broken, but never fear, there are spare parts (not from Fiat but from BMW (n) ). If these attempts wouldn't help, you really have to disconnect the PDC-ecu. In LHD-Doblos it's located on the left side of the luggage-compartment behind the plastic-cover. Try to find it there, I don't believe it on the opposite side in RHD-Doblos. Fuse? AFAIK there is no special one for PDC, but you should check your manual.

Good luck, Hajo

Cheers Hajo, took the n/s plastic cover off and unplugged the ecu. All good now(y)

Cheers,
Steve:)
