my parking lights used to work but now when I try and put them on the key won't turn enough in the ignition to switch them on. I tried a bit of force but it won't budge..don't want to use to much force..don't want to break anything. Anyone any suggests to what it might be. The key works fine

Are you saying you can't turn the car on because the key won't go round far enough?

Could be the steering lock is engaged

The key wont turn anti clockwise with the button depressed? Never known that happen before.May need anothr ignition switch.Get one off a scrapper and change the barrel

Unless you go on reasonable journeys to get your battery well charged don't use them for too long, especially at this time of the year. Batteries have enough drain on them as it is, lights, fan, HRW.

Had mine on once last winter for about 3½ hours and they drained the battery. Had to get the AA out.

You can drain the battery with one 10 amp bulb overnight, done it with the boot light a couple of times

i drained my battery with my hazzard lights for about 2-3 hours!!
