Can someone explain what the heck these are for and how to work them?

When I press my 'P' button nothing happens?! I thought that the lights are ment to come on and then turn off after 10mins or somthing?

Cheers guys :worship:

Parking lights are different to follow me home lights.

The P is used when you are parked on the road, in a dark lane say - moving it over to P means that you get the side lights to come on, although no dash lights. Does this not happen for you?

As for follow me home, I think you pull the stalk towards you when you get out of the car, although hard to remember, didn't use them much plus I haven't got a Stilo to check it on :p

Spot on Stu (y)

You can increase duration by extra pulls (ignition must have just been turned off). Recently used mine on a very dark night on Dartmoor to find my way to the house we were staying at.

Also with Parking lights you can select one side only with indicator stalk.

Hang on - why haven't you got this on your Panda :chin:

If I remember correctly, on my old mk1 Punto, you turned the ignition key to "p" (turn it towards you, rather than away, then push the tab surrounding the key socket to release the key), and the parking lights came on. Might be the same in the Panda?

Bravo has ditched it too, comes off the normal headlights/sidelights ring.
Do you mean you simply use the indicator stalk to select left or right side parking lights (not posible to select both) once ignition is off

If so then that technology goes back 35 years

But what about 'Follow Me Home'? Do both the Bravo and Panda have it?

Yeah ya can put the side lights on bothy side front and rear if you press the "P" button for 2 secs then if you only want say the right front and rear side lights on then lift the stalk to the right as if you was putting your indicators on Savy? lol

That's odd :chin:

Stu just said he hasn't got a "P" button on his Panda.

Are you sure both the new Panda & Bravo have the Parking light button

Come on guys lets not cheapen this section with the use of the P word ..and Argo you should set an example at your age :p

I don't have the P button, but I can still use parking lights by keeping lights on, and using the indicator to switch to either Left or Right.
That's what I thought you meant. So if you don't use the indicator stalk then the lights go off with the ignition just like on the Stilo.

All we need now is a new Bravo owner to confirm if they've got 'follow me home' too (where's Rich :chin:)

With the parking light 'P' button, I find you need to press and hold until it beeps. A quick press has no effect.

Yeah same as Stu. As with all FIAT's recently (Punto and newer), headlights automatically get turned off with the ignition. On the Bravo, to turn side lights on, you need to turn the ring (exactly the same as on the Stilo) to the sidelights position. You can then turn the stalk either side. From what I remember, the Stilo reverses it (so pulling the stalk down puts the right lights on), but the Bravo isn't corrected for RHD.
