General Panda's in Films

John Candy drove a Panda in Cool Runnings didnt he? And I remember an early 45 Super appeared in Brit flick Wilt with Griff Rhys Jones.

There was one in this excellent French film I saw a while ago. I forget the name but it was about this Italian bloke who drove round France kidnapping people and killing them. One of his victims had a Panda. As I recall it was meant to be a true story. Another woman had an Uno, but she didn't get murdered.

I was going to say that the Pandas I know of are in Ronin (A Panda 45 that gets riddled with bullets at the first ambush) and Spoorloos, a physcological Dutch thriller that is also called the Vanishing and was remade as the vanishing with Keifer Sutherland and happy Hollywood ending:( The original is one of my faves which is why I remembered the Panda (a MK 1 that nearly runs over the main character on the garage forecourt) It was made in 1986 and and is set in 1984 so is chock full of 70's & 80's European motors:cool:(y)

And by spooky coincidence that Lovejoy episode was on ITV4 last night, cos I watched it and noticed that same Panda:)
