Think they made the mk 2 until about 2000 maybe's even a little later on the continent. Had an idea years ago about going to the continent and ordering one as people did back then for other motors, perhaps persuading them to do an RHD. Never had the money though as usual:bang:

If I needed something to get about it in, I'd grab this. Reliable Panda era, tidy looking, long MOT, etc.. I'd bring a mate and a master cylinder with me and fix it on the road. £10 part, new from eBay now.

I don't think so because it was only Hitachi that made the starters for them wasn't it? Just thought I'd check though, just incase

Too bloody right, this car is a steal. if it wasn't for the 'rents and my faithfulness to Louise I'd be straight on this one!!:slayer: (BTW I'm a touch drunk and am surprised I'm resisting the temptation ) It's a bit like the cinq sporting I missed out on, on the bay. Had a snapped timing belt some basic tools and a new belt job would have been sweet

Forum members may have noticed that a Marelli ignition distributor ( 260275163959 ) has just appeared on Ebay. This has been listed as Panda, Uno and Lancia Y10.

Anyone considering bidding on this item should please note that :-
The quoted Fiat part number indicates that the item was used on Uno and Y10 but NOT on a Panda. This is not to say however, that the item could not be used on a FIRE type Panda.

I notice also, that the item does not appear to have a Vac Advance unit, where the Eper seems to indicate that it should have.

So this is another case of " Caveat Emptor "
