I would be suspicious of the mileage on that car. I know the numbers on the dial don't always line up on a Panda, but they are way off.

It above my cheapskate budget now  so the best of luck to anyone who fancies a punt (y)

I asked the guy selling this a question (via Ebay) asking if there was any real rust and what the bad points were as he only lists good points. The reply I got was just 'not really'. I won't be bidding as that's not how to inspire confidence on Ebay when you never get to meet the seller.

Hi Plug.

Yeah high mileage but a Selecta none the less. If I had the space . . . .

Wow your Panda is really low mileage

The Chevette mentioned in my signature thingy (3 speed auto) is 27 in September and 31k miles, so like your Panda, just run in LOL.

Check out that mileage

Must be worn smooth by now..

Cheers,

Plug

PS "Low mileage for age"? No. Mine's low mileage for age, it's also K reg and is currently showing just over 26K ..

I've seen it. I hope my Selecta reaches that, then I'll be happy. As you say, no where low mileage. My K-reg Selecta is showing 25K:p.

Will be interesting to see how much it sells for.

Wasn't Mandapanda V1.0 a selecta? Probably handy as you live the smoke, never driven one myself.

I always pooh-poohed the idea of automatics, but as I got older and lazier I've switched tracks.. I just want to get from A to B with the least amount of effort

An automatic Panda must be a bit gutless though.. even my lovely 1 litre manual with the full 45 horsepower is far from being a sports car..

Cheers,

Plug

We used to have this running joke with our Selecta that the accelerator wasn't connected to the engine but instead lowered a piece of cheese towards the little mice that we're under the bonnet making them run faster on the wheel that was connected to the Selecta box...

Yeah, it was that Haynes manual that was edited by Terry Pratchett type thingy... LOL

Jim
