:confused:I guess he has his reasons and that it would have been a hard decision to make. Personally, we'll keep Mandapanda whatever - I'd sooner sell another of the fleet (other than the Chevette that is) than Manda.

Im gutted to be honest but heres the reason... wifes Passat broke, no one could fix it, so I spent £600 on another car for her. Since then, the Passat has been fixed by someone in the know... so she has two cars. Problem is, one has to go and its the Passat, but it cost me a fair bit two years ago and since their values have tumbled massively... I would lose around £1000 as it stands. So, because Im getting a 500 sometime, and have a Mini and two Vespas, something has to go. Basically, looks like it will be the Panda and Ill keep the Passat for work etc.
I just cant justify losing the VW as Ive spent too much lately and its a good car, apart from when it broke. If, in the meantime someone offers loads of cash for the VW then the Panda stays... like I said its killing me to let her go:(
 
Best get that Passat on e-bay then LOL.

But seriously, hope you get a good price for the Panda and that she is appreciated by her new custodian :) If I had room I'd be making you a good offer, but 3 cars and 1 Central London Parking space we really, really can't squeeze any more in !
 
Cheers, unfortunately Passats of ours vintage with petrol engines are not wanted now... its a nice car too, got too thirsty for my wife to run though. Annoying thing was, just before it broke we were offered 1k for it... then it broke and turned out to be just a dirty throttle body:( after diagnostic checks etc and replacing sensors.
I really hope the Panda goes to someone who cares... I so love this car its mad.
