RED PANDA 1000S on Ebay yesterday/today in London

Hi!
If anyone who bought it reads this -I went to view the car!!

The seller was a really nice guy
BUT THE CAR HAD ABSOLUTELY NO WATER IN THE RADIATOR - we topped it up and it drove fine - he hadn't serviced it for 18 months and was wondering why the heater hadn't been working:bang:

That's one way to avoid getting mayonaise in the rad... big worrying that he was still driving it around though... especially in congested/slow traffic.

I know, surprised it's been there so long at the price really. 2WD is what I need I'm afraid. It will be the 16v project car. Progress is halted until I can get something. Would need to be a late cable select model without twin sunroofs TBH. The CLX in the forum classifieds looked perfect, but the owner wants four figures.

It looks nice. That's got to be a steal compared to practically any 4x4 that comes up on ebay these days unless there are lots of serious problems. There must be someone on here who wants it!

Yes. I have seen pictures, but they are too small to see anything properly. It looks well as far as I can see. Owner says it is in excellent condition. Annoying really as it probably has everything I need- no sunroof, 1995, red and I love rub bars!

I'd pay no more than £400 for that. I doubt anyone here would give more.

Made some enquiries about the faded red Selecta in Margate on e-bay which now has a years MOT. Seller is only lookin for between £250 & £300 for her.

The pretty but a bit battered Metallic Blue Parade in Clacton-On-Sea, with MOT till 24 April has a reserve of £225.00.

If any one is in the market for a Panda, or another . . . .

Would buy the red one myself, but with 3 cards already space is a bit tight

A selecta has just come on eBay with buy it now of £120. Have spoken to owner and he is sorting pics. If not rusty will buy. Annoyingly I'll have to get the trailer out as 30MPH for 190 miles sounds a bit silly. I assume I can retro fit manual cable select mechanism into the floor console bit- they seem the same?

Sod it. I bought it. MOT and tax worth £100 to me. Engine and gearbox coming straight out anyway! Off to get it later- hmmm easter traffic near London.

Should be fine, they're all in the South Lakes at the moment.
what size engine did the selecta have?

Well done on your Panda purchase. Just been over to see it. Parked on drive so couln't see too much but looks fairly complete. Good drivers door and roof rails too. It's quite bright for a white 'un.

Hope you enjoy it.

I have taken a fancy to a local Cinq Sporting so...regrettably, I am listing my 750 on eBay from 8.30pm tonight. :cry:

I hope you guys don't feel that I am letting you down but the temptation of the yellow sporting is just too much...
