i've noticed him selling on ebay before and he is the detailed buyer.

It's me! Worryingly our Panda collection has just gone up again (temporarily 5!) but I couldn't resist. Just finishing off fixing up a white 4x4 and spotted the Bianca - couldn't stop myself. Although it's a bit of a risk as I haven't seen it and am a bit worried about the "sons driving round field" I'm hoping that with not too much work it will be another Panda back on the road (and perfect for summer!). Sorry if anyone else wanted to go for it - saw it and clicked straightaway. It's also the same attitude that has ended up with us having 3 Fiat 900 campers at the moment (long story!). We've had quite a few Pandas and other Fiats and have ended up with a garage full of bits, hence the "Fiat Farm" ID!

Ahhhhh,,Thank god for that...at least it went to someone on here...(y)

Only rule is you keep us updated and post pic's!!!.....

As i said its my favorite edition and just to coincide with it my mum found a pic of my old Bianca today which i'm about to post on the "Show your Panda" section.

Good luck with it and i hope its in good nick..if not make sure it becomes good...its a rare beast.....:)

Good to see it's gone to a good home! (y)

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I am selling my beloved 1000CL (called Katy) on ebay.

I would absolutely love it if it were to go to a forum member as I know she would be treated with the respect she deserves.

Check it out at:

Cheers,

PM me if you want more details or photos, or do it through ebay (might be better as I will be checking it more often)

That blue Sisley was originally posted on ebay as a scrapper if you remember. One or two of us were surprised at that - maybe the seller read these pages? £500 though is just silly.

Would anyone here like to see my email correspondence from the owner of the £500 knackered Sisley ?? Please read below!!!:eek::eek:

Hi Snecytechy,
I'm a bit of a Panda enthusiast and I thought I would let you know my opinion of your sale. I would seriously consider dropping the price. I am currently looking at 2 Panda's privately, A 4x4 sisley, immaculate, 60k, bull bars etcetc and the other kitted with CB radio for £600 and both are mechanically sound.(which if people are still interested in, please contact me). Your Panda has gearbox problems, head gasket blown and 150,000miles? Your honesty is admirable for anyone looking to buy a project, but it will not sell at that price. To get the sale you're looking for, I would start the bidding at £200 and wouldn't be surprised if it doesn't get much more than that.

Sorry for my brutal honesty against your car, I love them to bits but believe if you really want a sale, the price needs to come down over 50%.

Best of luck with the bidding.
James

Dear james_panda,

Hi - just to set the record straight I am also an enthusiast as well and indeed ran the Fiat 4x4 Register in the Fiat Motor club for many years having owned 9 of them since 1996. Whilst I appreciate your comments which to be honest are pretty well unfounded and a complete pile of crap, my prices have been set based on the number of enquiries which i have had about the car over the past 2 weeks. Panda Sisleys as you will no dobut be aware are very rare and easily fetch in excess of £1000 in reasonable condition. As i can clearly sense you personally are interested but are looking for a bragian, I suggest you look elsewhere.

I was very very surprised at the above reply from him but, either way, he cannot sell for that price! oh well.

Haha....Very funny James..I love ebay moments like that..:D

Is that why it was up for spares the 1st time it was on???...

Lets do the maths for him....gearbox rebuild £450..Re-spray £650..to by the car £500...Ooopppps better stop there!!!!...Might put people off buying it....

P.S...they are not that rare...just desirable. How many Sky's, Bianca's, Parade's and other special editions have been on ebay over the past year compared to Sisley's?????

Agreeded Sisley are not all that rare. Just desirable in good nick as people know what they cost to sort if not :)
