Went out and just missed the panda official workshop man. outbid by £1.00.

Did some one on the forum get it???

kev

I thought of buying it. Already got one, but with bits missing, but decided not to in the end :p Already spent to much money towards Panda's this month and it's only the 11th

Has anyone any idea why the 'G' Reg RED Sisley from Cumbria is back on ebay today 11/11/08 having only been sold on 29/10/08

Wasn't it as good as it looked?

Strange thing is the guy who "bought" it came on this section of the forum..
Saying how happy he was...????

The description reads a bit diff now...."slight rot on rear arch" and "come to view its a 18yr old car"

Looks like the sale did not go through....

Would the buyer or seller like to explain?????????...kev

Yes it is the same seller as before but with an extra 500 miles.

I thought Avanti 500 bought it but the ebay buyer 'landrovermatt' paid £1400 for it.

Same person?

Would be interesting to know what rights you have to reject something you have bought on ebay, as I thought the contract was binding.

Maybe he couldn't fit in it or couldn't get used to the short clutch pedal and wonky fiat gears.

Then again were these last 2 Sisleys overpriced
Red one at £1400
Blue one in Chesterfield at £1700. It was mint however in the flesh!

£1700 one had LOTS of spares.....

As for rejecting i've done it before. Quite simply if its not a good description then its "bye bye".
Won a red panda...already asked questions on the phone and when i turned up i found my questions had not been answered correctly!!! Any rust on doors.."No"...I arrive.."Oh i did not see that"...
Plus the clutch was f*cked....As i said bye bye...Alot of people go out of their way to include everything. No matter how small...Saves alot of heartache..

In that case I paid £600 wrongly for my 4x4 with a f....d gearbox.
Anyway 3 years on after £500 gearbox and clutch rebuild it is still going strong.

Don't regret a thing. (Hell/damn/blast etc)

Simple answer is yes I'd love to be there given more info!!!!

I'm relatively new to the forum and although I know where Gaydon is, as
Vera Lynn said 'Don't know where don't know when'

Not if as good as they look!

At the end of the day, a car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If someone is willing to pay £1400, then it's worth £1400. Its just a matter of attracting the correct buyers at the right time ;)

Jon.
