still waiting on reply to my offer, hope i get it:rolleyes: If get it and its ok my 406 will have to go to keep peace with the landlords (the parents) so the mk1 will be everyday transport at least until the sisley's sorted.

Did a similar trip 5 years ago when I bought my 1st X1/9. Drove down to Portsmouth with my punto 75sx i had at the time stayed over night (the guy just happened to own a oap holiday camp lol) then towed the x home on my towing dolly 650 mile round trip half of which towing 800kg of x1/9 and the back of the punto loaded with X1/9 spares (seats down stacked to the roof:eek:).

Return journey took 12 hours (with burger and bog stops) and the punto averaged 38mpg which i was and still am impressed with, considering the extra weight:slayer:

So as long as panda is ok should be a slightly more relaxing drive home. Still going to join the AA though just in case lol.

I was thinking today of converting my panda into a pickup, but thought she was to short. This looks like fun, wonder where I can get hold of a back end?:slayer:

Hi all, longterm lurker finally posts lol :D

I've always wanted a panda... Finally made an offer on one...

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220284852370

Does anyone think I've made a mistake / could have done better?
Suggestions/comments welcomed!
Many thanks, will.

BTW: Most easterly pandas, do you live in Lowestoft, cause I grew up in Oulton Broad! :D

Hmm having re-read this thread properly I see it's already been pointed out/ bidded on! Doh!!!

Gah Hope I haven't stolen it from a more worthy owner... mind you my offer was quite optomistic so i reckon he'll turn it down...

I may be wrong, but does the ad on this panda seem, well.............. a bit odd? Its set at bargain price, theres loads of offers on it - all with no response from seller, its listed with bloomin ages to go on it - do you think its either a bit of a scam or someone just testing the water to see how much intrest there would be on it, if theres loads, then put it to auction? Just a thoought - or has anyone had any response from the seller yet ?

Don't worry marmalade, nothing wrong a bit of sporting competition(y)

He aint responded to my offer yet, and he's apparently only got 4hr left to do so. I thought it was slightly strange how long he's got it listed for. The water testing theory i think:chin:

yeah it's a bit cheeky isn't it. Think he would have been better with a proper auction?
Hmm my offer hasn't been accepted/declined yet...

Browising through the parts section yesterday, someone is breaking a Sisley, burgundy colour. Not one of us i hope.

Hes got a couple of items, Both doors! looked ok, but search yourself.
