General Panda Vans

Was there any Panda Vans brought into Britian?

I stripped the seats out of my Sisley and was thinking that they would make a great little van.

They were never sold in the UK, so you will have to go abroad to get the bits, there were loads around in Italy when I went a few years ago so I imagine it will be easy to source all the parts from over there, just getting them back is the problem.

Yes, I'm pretty sure he imported the parts and modified it here.

There is also a Panda Terra, again not imported here. I have the Seat equivalent and plan to fit a Panda front end.

Serbians used to exchange Van bits for normal hatches and side windows. All you had to do was going to Serbia to make this exchange. But it's not so far as you imagine.

Didnt Stuart for his van conversion have the bits sent over, frame was cut in half to make it manageable IIRC?

Its definatley something im gonna look at doing once i've done with the Sisley and if the funds allow.

My advice - consider going to Serbia. Serbia's Panda Fan's kindness and hospitality are among the best in Europe. I've been there (only) twice so far.

I converted the CLX that Jim took to Warsaw. Rele on here got the parts and sent them to me. And did indeed have to cut the main frame in half as posty would not take the size. How I did it is on my site. http://www.maranellohouse.com/bluepanda.html

It's very easy to do and wasn't dear at all really. I might build another at some point.

I bought may van parts from a chap in Burlin. I collected the kit when I went to Germany for my summer holiday. I'm going to turn a my black CLX Panda in to an Italian Police Dog Van starting in spring 2013 in memory of my best friend URCHIN who past away monday.
