General Panda. Stereo. Wiring. Confirmation please.

I'm putting a stereo in my 750L.

I've already searched and have a good idea as to wiring, but just need a bit of confirmation.

I have the live wire and the earth in the car, but as well as the live battery/ignition feed the stereo requires a 'Permanent +12 volt supply for the memory (orange wire)'

Do you reckon I can take this off the cigarrette lighter??

Speakers aren't a problem as I only have 2, and I know were they go.

You could split the live wire, it's a permanent supply.

The ciggy lighter is permanant, so yes but you have to be carefull that the ciggy lighter doesn't affect it if used i.e. it's contacts are clean and works properly. Until I adjusted the ciggy lighter contacts the stereo was going nuts. You can take the lighting from the little dash bulb.
