General Panda 750 Progress

It will be a bigger job to change a selecta into a manual, than it is to weld the 750 up.

Can't see why... It's not a selecta as the gearbox is at the bottom of the garden Most of the work is done.

Just bolt in the whole drive train from the 750...

You could of course, do a bit of reshelling - get a tidy shell with flat paint with a dicky engine and a bit of transferring

just the same problems I've had with my engine swap with fueling but as I recall there's something about the exhaust... Mmmm

Aye, if you're 1242ing a Cento you need a 15mm spacer on the exhaust manifold so the downpipe will clear

"Wait till I telll ya" with the amount of effort that has gone into this, there'll be a panda going should I have to take the engine out of another one and put it in the Africar.

Now who do I know with a Panda that's handy.......

I am sure that if Stu cant get Sylvia to work, he will be converting her into a rear engined V8 panda, now i wonder where he can get an engine like that :chin:

Funnily enough I'm just back from seeing Sylvia. Totally convinced now that it's a fueling problem so the guys are buying in a 3 bar fuel regulator and we'll see if that sorts her out. I have to leave the stronger pump down to them to but it may be to strong.
Hopefully Sylvia will be up and going again in the next couple of weeks.
