General  Panda 4x4

driving passed hartwells garage I saw a Black mk 4 Panda 13 plate not sure what type it was , also today picked up some bark chippings in boxes put some in the back and 2 on the front passenger seat lucky it did not light up the seat belt display ,So I wonder how heavy the load has to be on the seat ,car was driving ok with 8 boxes although I took it steady around corners ,also I think the rear fold down seats have a bit of an angle to them that they do not fold down as flat as my Mk 3 panda use to ,but I did not have rear headrests just a bench folding seat

the black car I saw is a 4x4 wheather its a demo car , today at about 2.30pm driving passed I saw coming off a car transporter a white panda 4x4 no plates on this car ,but had to go back to work as I fogot my house keys

Quite a selection of new Pandas delivered today, including my Trekking :D

I've arranged to collect it on Wednesday, hopefully it'll have been worth
the rather long wait :bang:

Panda fans - did you guys all get to choose your plate (albeit from a restricted short list that the dealer is allocated) or did you simply take what you were given?

I did try looking for a private plate, but I won't pay more than the DVLA minimum and at that price I could find nothing that I thought would suit the car. Anything spelling out PANDA or similar is just too expensive and I'm not sure about plates that have ones initials, which leaves just 'pattern' plates (e.g. repeated characters) and again nothing that really seemed worth having. I'm open to suggestions of course, but I know it's really a bit of a folly and to many would seem to be an utter waste of money!

Go easy on me please...:)

Expecting a 1st June delivery...

Can't wait to be back in a Panda :)

My Mrs told me last week that her favourite cars we have owned have been the Cinquecentos. I too fondly remember the Sporting in particular as it was an absolute hoot to drive.

Here's hoping the new Panda will create more great memories.

Because you have to register and sign in before you can buy any of the plates on the DVLA website ,as I was not registered even though I picked out a plater with my intels on ,I said I had 11 mins to complete registering and Paying for the number plate or else I would lose my plate I chose and have to pick out the plate again ,I managed to register and then pay for the number plate in 6 mins

On a recent trip to Greece (last week) I had my antennae finely tuned to spot Mk4 Panda 4x4s - my thinking being they have some truly rubbish roads off the main highways which the longer travel suspension of the 4x4 would be well suited to.

Well, it was nice to see a light green, white and burgundy-red Mk3 4x4, but alas no new ones. The only Mk4 Panda we saw was a regular model looking very nice indeed in can-can red.

Anyhow, that was a distraction: As this is the last weekend before I am back to having an Italian car in the family, I need to be thinking about all the extra things I need to be ordering, so my question to you guys is what is the best price and source for:

4x4 car mats
Paw-print badges
Dog cover thing for the rear seats
Tom-tom unit

Should i simply order from the FIAT or are there better sources who offer better prices?

Thanks is advance(y)
