I think you can tell by the ear to ear grin on my face that it was great fun and we didn't get stuck once! Unlike when we took the Renault 4x4 and then the man in the Disco that came to rescue us.... So much for the 'best4x4byfar'..........
Most of the photo's are taken near Tory Island in Co Donegal, it's a great place to off road cause there's all these sandy tracks to bump around on all day and there not a keep off the grass sign in site
I've found every nown and again when something get's stuck somewhere someone turns up to help with a freelander or discovery or whatever they are, but they can rarely do any better with their massive tyres and loads of weight. Once on a campsite a bloke was trying to pull out a tiny metro or something from only a few inches of mud, it couldn't do it and got stuck itself, worse than useless.
Just got a new roof (both sections) there the other week for him and once that's done he'll be getting Waxoyl'd to keep him in the same shape as you gave him to me.
Hi Jim. I see your a dab hand with filters. Which camera phone did you use.
Here are we ever going to see you at any of the meetings/shows. My 4x4's away to my mate on the mainland now and Steve's as you know isn't on the road yet so we need you to fly the 4x4 flag
I take it you call the Selecta "Bo" getit, you know, "Bo selecta" the TV programe, channel 4, guy dresses up in funny outfits. "Honestly my talents are lost on you lot"
Secretly he is called Bo but not on here as I knew Christopher would be annoyed casue he called his Bo first.... Thou I prised the 'selecta' badge off the boot so no one really gets the joke!
Ah well, at least there's only 1 juppy (thank god or I'd be getting divorced on the grounds of unfair cruelalty to credit cards)
Anyway, that's the Motorola V635 and I think it was having a bit of a mad moment and turned everything Laverder that sunday. (It doesn't have any filter affects) The pictures are not bad and you can email them direct from the handset which is fun when your on holiday and you want to rub in in
By the way, is that your Lancia parked beside Central station in the lock up car park (that seems sometimes to morph into a gray punto/tempra estate etc)? It's just I pass it every morning on the way to drop Alan off at Gem.
Jim
Ps, sorry Christopher. I'll only call him Bo in wisphers when theres no one around.....
Tidy Duffer Revarnet. Off the M1 at Sprucfield. Double back heading in towards Lisburn. At the lights just after you go under the M1 bridge take the next right (for Revarnet) up that road about 2 miles you will see it on your left. We gather around 7.45pm.
Might see you there
