Helou everyone

I tought i had noise coming from broken drivshaft on my Panda (169)

I did remove driveshaft since it was loose, but rear differential still makes rattling noise. It stops when i hit brake even littlebit

It has minor leak on left side(looks wet), so something is broken insade. Im planning to chance whole thing, or if i get good hints, i might rebuild it from insade.

I know that part id is 55189952, but those are pretty expensive, even the used ones.

So, if you know which parts it contains (parts id's please  ) i could be so happy. Or if you have one to sell, that could work too.

Check the mountings and CV joints but you might need to consider getting a used differential box.

However, running an unloaded gearbox will often be noisy. Try running a car in gear with drive wheels off the road. The gear backlash can sound like a bag of spanners but it's entirely normal.

Rubber parts were pretty wrecked, seems like box is really down from behind. Have to replace them and try again. Damn hard because cant post pictures yet, im too newbie

With anything like this it's best to remove everything, replace what's failing and reassemble. It sounds like extra work but its easier in the long run to do it once and do it right.

While you are under there you can check for rust and treat any questionable areas.
