Panda Panda 100HP project (cooperman style!)

Introduction

Right thought I would start a thread as there are a few mods happening to my panda and wanted somewhere to have them all in one place! I have owned my 100HP since 2010 and love it! She gets serviced at fiat evry year and had belts and water pump replaced last year. I wanted to start modding her but not go OTT as been there and done it before! Hopefully you guys like it!
So this is what I have done:

Really happy with the way the car is coming on! The rear end is looking nice and fat, will be looking at getting a silver rear fog light bulb to balance up the lights and looking at spacers the same as Demi has to fill the arches a bit more. All 4 tyres will be getting replaced also for Toyo T1R's as got some cheap front tyres put at the mo and had enough of them!! Lesson learnt!
And if u ring them up with a cheaper price and work ur magic they will match the price (if u find cheaper elsewhere) and still deliver it quick

I do like the wheels. I have thought long and hard about changing mine but the standard ones just suit the car so well, especially when it's got some lows.

With koni sport/H&R 25mm springs and 16" wheels mine only rubbed the edge of the 100hp body trim and only because if wheel spacers. Rubbed about 2-3 mm off the inside edges and stopped. So 20-30mm springs can be ran on 16" wheels with out spacers easy . Will rub the inside of the wheel arch trim on the front when pushed hard thou. But that to be expected. I think think that black DNA test panda is on 16" OZ's

Thanks guys

Hello mate sorry for the delay reply, the springs I got are -30mm and they are spax specific for the 100hp, a lot of the lowering springs out there are for the standard panda so as the 100hp is already lowered from the factory there isn't much of a gain, the sports I got from lark speed but demon TWEEKS is just as good, you just need to adjust them to 0.5 from sort and they will be perfect!!
Cheers for the kind words also! (y)

The H&R are HP specific, it says so in the guff that is with them.

I will get some fresh pics this weekend of mine washed and with added lows

ok sweet. i just cant find the 30mm spax springs. where did you get them? can only find the 25mm. and do you think the standard koni shocks (not the sport ones) will do a good job still? i can get some for pretty cheap thats all. :)

Went back and re read my thread the springs were -25mm. When you say standard koni do you meant the STR.T? I was looking at them first, they will be fine there was a lot of good reviews from panda owners on them when I was looking.

Yeah ok mate yeah the orange konis instead of the yellow ones, can get the standard orange ones £110 for rear pair brand new!

Our panda sits so well, what size spacers you got? And did you have to get longer threaded wheel nuts with them?

Cheers man I was surprised but just how well it looked when I done the wheels, I needed to fit 10mm spacers so the front wheel would clear the caliper, the company I bought the wheels from gave me the spaces, longer wheel bolts and locking bolts for free, the locking bolts I had to trim about 3mm off as they were slightly to long and catching on the rear.

Yeah that makes sense, tempted to do your induction mod too but if I declare it to the insurance it will go up so just thinking about it at the moment, does it give a nice sound?

Yeh defo makes a difference to the sound, Realistically you will be replacing one bit of pipe for another and if you get black what's the difference??!

That was my approach as well :)

Make sure you tighten the jubilee clip that goes onto the airbox very tightly though. Mine fell off a few weeks back. I didn't want to over tighten it the first time in case I cracked the plastic opening.

STR.T shocks are basically non adjustable Sport dampers pre set on soft hence they are cheaper. Some say they are little bit softer than Sport dampers on softest setting but it hasn't been proved.
