Ok guys and girls,

Heres my 100hp, i've owned it from new, standard spec, no sub stereo thing and no lardy sunroof ;-) i got it with the pandamonium pack, and that was it, for nearly 3 years and 44,000 miles thats how it stayed.

But now i've decided to reward the car for 3 years of pure entertainment :D

The pictures show you whats been done, but to list it, italian flag going over car, italian reg plates, powder coated wheels, grande punto Abarth badges, pandamonium side stripes re-done in italian colours, all vinyl is laminated, red mirror caps..

Abarth wheel badges, bmw air filter, Ragazzon centre section and FK coilovers to come (though i'm terrified it will spoil how it drives) the idea is to make it more my own but also to make it look as factory as possible.

As she started.. please ignore the photo quality on the newer pics, my cam phone isn't the best :-(

Stunning car looks factory done well done bet your glad u changed it

Thanks bud, bit more to go yet but yea definately glad i changed it, has a lot more character now i think!

I used to be the big bodykit modification stuff but now i think show room ad factory stuff much better or how it should have looked reaaly thinking about the Italian stripes but don't think red would suit it

yea it wouldnt suit red i doubt, would look odd. if i had red i think i'd look at a stripe ala Ferrari 360 challenge stradale, would look cool i reckon and subtle in that only clued up people would know what it is. or maybe go the way the new alfas are which i really like, black roof, grey wheels. suits red or white. Vinyl black the roof, anthracite wheels and coilovers, then do the little italian bits, plates, badges etc. could look cool.

If there's one thing that bugs me it's non-standard numberplates.

They're illegal and you'll fail your MOT if you have them on your car when it goes in.

What really annoys me is how many people are driving around with them and get away with it. One of the letters on my STANDARD LEGAL numberplate got some water behind, started to peel a bit and I get pulled and fined .

You'll get annoyed when you get pulled eventually so I'd changed them if I were you (y)

Looks good! I like the way the added colour 'lifts' the whole car, as for the italian style plates, take em off when you get it Mot'd if its likely to be a problem.....(y)

Don't go to Switzerland

I went on a road trip with a pal in 2008 across Europe and he got stopped at the Swiss border and held for two hours because his E39 M5 had a D in the numberplate (but british reg). It took the sense-of-humour-absent Swiss border guards a while to phone through to a German judge to determine whether to impound the car, block access to Switzerland (would have been awkward as we were driving through from Germany to Italy and already late for a date in Turin) or fine him. In the end they opted to let him through with a warning and a promise to send him a letter warning him never to enter Switzerland in that car again.....

I guess it means: you may get hassle :)
