What's better Paints4U or Autopaint?

I am trying to get a colour match on my car (spray can aerosol), Teseo Blue 597, And I am just wondering what place does the best colour match, and which you have used in the past and recommend?

Many Thanks,

Sam

try looking for paint suppliers in the yellow pages, drive the car down and get them to mix it. Only issue is that they'll probably want to supply a 2k spray which needs to be used very soon after prep before it goes off.

i have used Auto-paint numerous times in the past. Always a very good match.

They will never be able to get it perfect unless you have perfect paint work to start with. They will match the paint to the colour code you give them. Chances are, the paint on your car will have faded in the sun over the years and so probably wont be exactly the same as the colour code.

if in doubt, take your car to a decent bodyshop and ask them to get paint mixed up exactly to your car.

That or goto halfords and get them to mix it for you to the exact same colour as your car :D
Halfords are ****.
They have no experience at all. I asked them to mix me up my colour code. They looked at me like I just spoke another planet.
Halfords usually ran by teenagers my age, and those who have no experience with car colours.
If you want a match. A proper match, you will need to go to a body shop as stated

When they mixed you the colour code did you not ask them to do a tester and go outside and put it up against your car to see if it was the correct colour? Someone on FF said thats what they did and it was spot on.

But yeah if you want to pay through your eyeballs goto a bodyshop and get them to do it :)

Hi Sam,

I know this is an old thread, but I can say paints4u.com are most certainly the best paint supplier i've used. They even delivered ontime and took an order over the phone which on the internet these days is rare. I'd give those school leavers at halfrauds a wide birth :slayer:

The paints4u paint is made in italy so the have access to older fiat colours

Many thanks
Millton.
