Painting wheels.

okay so i recently purchased some of these:

Dotz Mugello

and in the future i may want to get the wheels painted.
i think i would like the spokes to be gloss black but keep the polished lip.
would you recommend seeking professional help for a job like that or is it easier and cheaper to do it by myself?
if you think i should get them done professionally where do you recommend?

Are they real split rims? If so then take them apart to aid painting. If not, then some careful masking is in order. Scuff the spokes up with a Scotchbrite pad, undercoat then gloss top coat. All the tools are available from halfords if you don't have a favourite motor factor.

Easy DIY job if you're competent and not afraid of having a go.

thanks for the advice. but now the wheels are fitted i dont want to change them love how they look. thanks for the help anyway
