hi guys
can anyone please help me
im wanting colour coded bumpers for my mk1 punto but cant find any with out having them sprayed
i was wondering if you could spray standard ones and make them look all nice n shiny like colour coded ones lol

please help :D

thanks

As far as i know it

U'll have to rub the whole thing down with Wet+Dry paper

Then 3 coats of primer (is it 3?)
Then 3 coats of the same colour paint
Then 3 coats of Gloss Finish

This in turn could take a while for drying so prepare your car to be off the road for a while

I know wing mirrors take a good day

As for bumpers - a good FEW days

I did this on a clio a few weeks ago looks fine I didnt take it of the road regretted it took twice aslong.... finish wasnt as good as re-sprayed ect its 3 times yeh all coats i would say

I think you need plastic primer mate, because of the flexing the plastic does - personally i'd bite the bullet and have a bodyshop do them... Not an easy job if you don't know what you are doing.
