Painting!!! help plz

Hey guys,

have applied a metalic black paint to my door handles after priming it. When i sprayed the paint on it came up all glitery and look nice and shiny. However as its drying it seem to go dull and into a matt finish. Will the lacquer bring it back up? or is there something im doing wrong?

the shinny ness was just the wet in the paint, once it dries up it will go dull. then when u lacquer it, itll bring it up nice and bright again. like a wet look.

Its a 1.4 Chassis, 1.6 Engine and 2.0ltr Brakes and half a Marea
