Styling Painted Rear Lights

Bought some lights and roof rails from the scrappy, Ive painted the lights so I thought Ide let you see them cause the way I work God knows when the rails will be painted and all swopped over.

I did mine yongs ago, they look alot better done black than grey, do the bit on grille to match, makes it alot better looking in my opinion..
You've done a good job on yours mine are all pitted and showing primer now.

did you find a way to seperate the unit or did you just mask it up?

i need to re-tint my rears as they look a bit tacky

personally i prefer the colour they come in but thats just me, black on black would be a bit of a wash out on my car.

As far as I can remember the lenses don't come out, I masked mine up and painted them. I think chrome roof rails and lights would suit yours better Ry.
But your motor looks pretty cool anyhow. Just wish I had the money to do mine up, looks a real dog now.

mine is starting to get a bit tatty now on the outside

i need to get some money together to sort out the bodywork now the engine seems to be all together.

i also had to mask mine the last time i did them but it means things dont look fantastic

I think they look very nice, and as Venters said you've done a good job there , iv got to re-spray the black line thats down the side/front of my car(at the very bottom-front to back)-its got the odd dink/dent in it and really shows up when its clean.

I looked very hard to find a way of separating the lenses but it means undoing the seam between the front and the back and didnt want to risk breaking it so I just masked them
