Paint code question

paint code check, looking to get some parts seller says he has them in 176 exotica red mine is passionate red would this be a match had to see from the listing posts

They aren't the same...even if they were the same there would still be a slight difference between what you have and what you buy due to different weathering conditions, but you're not starting with the same colour - so don't expect it to be a match.

EVEN TWO batch's of the same code aren't likely to be an exact match! different codes ! -no chance + reds one of the worst colours as so many variables + it fades badly in UV light so new will be different to old paint of the same colour!.

Thanks it's pretty uv faded already but the bonnet laquar peel is quite bad

I figured you had a vintage car that needed to look spicko, but its an old Punto. I have an 08 plate Punto, and at that age slightly off paintwork isn't a problem. If you buy those bodywork parts it'll probably look better than the lacquer peel, so go ahead!
