General Packet of screws - What for?

Hi,


Just picked up my new 500s today. Just one thing that is puzzling me. With all the manuals, paperwork and other gubbins, there was a small packet of 8 dome head self tapping screws and a self adhesive circular foam pad. I haven't got a clue what they are for, and I can't find anything in the manuals.


Any ideas?

They're for attaching the number plates. The foam pad is to prevent the rear plate rattling.
