hii all
without any light on dash my punto mk2 1.2 16v starting a rough idle and even when get hot not working properly
took to my garage a fault code saved p 1135 it's o2 sensor my mecanic said it could be a water in fuel and ended up with a bottle of gaz treatement .after 6 hours nothing change
checked google and find there Is specific code for water in fuel p1613
so need an advise to starting with [for inf sparg plug changed last year with ht lead done 6000 miles only - spark champion

Fuel treatment total waste of money - your car is telling you that the O2 sensor is broken, that's what you need to replace. Your mechanic should have known better.

Sounds like your mechanic doesn't know how to read,

water in fuel will.make a.steamy exhaust the 02 sensor wont be fused by this

i'd ensure the lamba is doing its job first before replacing
if it was disconnected and started that would put the light on.and store a code

yoss your problem is first lambda next to engine
before dismissing it as faulty confirm the applicable earth wire to run the internal heater in the lambda has a good earth
if earth showing as good and this in the only fault then change the sensor
tell mechanic to keep to shoeing camels

a bizare think was happen to me with my car
everythink is ok my prob was one HT lead are pushed out
cz the spark plug was not firmly tightened so the pression of the cylinder pushed the ht lead outside cauzing a misfire
but the problem is the scanner does not tell us anything about a misfiring
that's why my mecanic have not check the spark nor the leads

P1XXX codes are manufacturer specific not generic

good point but at least it points to a reason why
codes very rarely are specific to a fault but do point in the general direction
macanic still hopeless though as he didnt do simple tests like vacuum check or even a ht lead check with a clamp on them
or even a co test
or even listen as he would surely hear the arc arc arc of a spitting lead
or shut the bonnet on his head while yoss sat on it
