Afternoon all!

We have a 2015 Dethleffs Advantage. The base vehicle is a Ducato MultiJet 150.

A few weeks ago, the engine light came on and it went into limp mode. I stuck my reader on and it was showing a P0238. Powertrain. Turbo/Super Charger Boost Sensor "A" Circuit High.

This points to the MAP sensor as far as I can work out. I had a mobile mechanic come out. He had a look and I'm 99% sure he changed the MAF sensor. Bit of pipe with a sensor in the middle.

After a lot of Googling, this Bosch part seems to come up.

So, a couple of questions please...

1. Is that the right part?
2. Where is it located?

Best regards
Andy

The part highlighted is a MAP Sensor. Correct one? Contact Bosch they will give you the correct part number, phone or email. Give reg vin etc.
Where is it? On the inlet manifold.

This is a later engine, you may be able to acess it from the top

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the forum.

Your link is to an absolute pressure sensor, which is mounted on the inlet manifold. The mass airflow sensor or debimeter, which fits your description, will be located close to the air filter outlet, in the hose leading to the turbo air inlet.
