Morning all,

I’m trying to locate the replacement part for my 04 panda 1.1 active.
The p0115 warning said it’s an engine coolant temp sensor.

I can see it in the engine but it seems to be moulded in place?

Do you know if I’m able to replace the sensor or the whole unit?

I’ve attached the best photo I can get but I can’t read the part number

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you

Liam

Simple job. It's the whole black bits that the sensor

It's just two bolts electrical connector and hose clip.

New jubilee clip needed.

A stuck open thermostat will also throw the same code.

Easy to test. Start the engine from cold. Put your hand on the hose that connects to the thermostat. Right hand side of the engine. If it starts to get warm within a minute the thermostat is stuck open

Brilliant, thank you koalar

I’ve sourced a spare black sensor and will finish fitting tomorrow. Finding it a bit fiddly! Very tight

Hose, bolts and electrical connector are off but gave up struggling to get the last side clip off! Any tips?

Thank you for the heads up on the thermostat. Really appreciated

If you are talking about the hose clip.

Grab the square flat of the clip with a pair of pliers or similar. Wiggle and twist for a few seconds and it will snap. A new one required anyhow.

I used Wicks clamps on mine Two thermostats, one tempriture sensor and one heater matrixthey have fitted fine with no leaks for over a year.

Easy to screw down with a long screwdriver as there space directly above it.

Take the old one with you. There nothing worse than trying to guess the size. Guarantee you will come back with one size bigger than needed. The closer to the correct size the better it will snug down.
