Hi,
I changed the timing belt for 2006 Grande Punto 1.4 8V VVT engine.
Now when I start the engine cold, it gives the P0016-76 code.
Then I clear the code and it works ok,, no codes (small hesitation could be) until it's cold then it throws code again.
Allways throws code when cold started, but not when hot started.
Multiecuscan shows that desired cam position and actual cam position are within one degree of each other,.
At idle desired cam position for example is -1 degree and actual cam position is -0.94 degree.
At 3000rpm desired cam position for example is -10 degree and actual cam position is -9.93 degree
But Phase variator control is Excessive advance.
Is it that timing belt is one tooth off?
