Technical overboost valve?

Currently reading:

found a better picture of the latter design manifold with the sandwitch plate swirl flap section which would sit near head.(post 36)

looking from above if it is this type nothing is visable to suggest flap are in there.
be interesting if yours do or don't have swirl flaps as it was for emisions do you know if yours is euro3 or euro4
I think the really new alfas may be back to no flaps not sure about fiats

if its that type in the second pic all you would see from above is that thinish sandwich plate near the head
you still havnt said what model ,size engine is in your croma.
