The headlights on my '99 "T" reg. Bravo HLX adjust on their own.
While driving along the dipped beam occasionally rises and falls at will, without using the dashboard adjuster(which sometimes doesn't make any difference anyway)
Very frustrating and sometimes dangerous, especially on unlit roads.
Can anyone out there give me some advice - Wotz going on?.

Have the adjuster motors become disconnected somehow?

Pete

does it occur whilst normal driving or under breaking / driving over bumps / driveways?

Motors running fine. They can be heard "wurring" when the headlights adjust themselves.Thanx 4 the reply.

Re: Re: overactive headlights

Have you checked/cleaned the connection behind the dash to make sure it is not loose or shorting out somewhere?

Connections not checked-good idea!,would explain occasional "non working" of dash thumbswitch. How do I access said connections?.Thanx again 4 the response.
