Hi all, the wife and i have just bought a '07 100hp in white.

Very much a newbie to Fiats, but it looks to be ok...

Has a nice glass roof with sunroof, climate control and bluetooth. Seats are a bit different to the standard panda too.

Couple of little niggles to sort, one of the rear bump stops has broken off (this seems to be a common issue?) Back box is starting to rust, Fiat badges front and rear look a bit worn, as does the gearstick and steering wheel.

All relatively minor stuff though, so this could be a very short thread!

be prepared for lots of silly questions:)
and hopefully now i have 5 posts i can put up some pics.....

here goes....

going to book it in for a service at a Fiat specialist, maybe bianco-auto in surrey. Just to give it a check over and confirm things are good. Will then look after it myself. Plan will be to keep it pretty much standard, although that was the plan with what my forum username comes from.. that thread is now running at 200+ pages and it looks like this

Bump stops, you can jack up and use a hacksaw to cut them in half and pull out, or change to koni's and get rid altogether.

Thanks, after having a little look it just seems to be undoing the bottom shock mount and pulling lower arm down to remove the spring?
Do you have a link to the koni's? could be the way to go when the existing shocks wear out

Demon tweaks have them, you can buy as a kit with the springs or on there own.

Sports for adjustability or str.t for fixed rate and obviously cheaper.

Yaayyy another whitey!, looks great and all the things you mention seem to be fairly common and easily sorted issues.

P.S....love the reg!

Well, i have a bump stop on its way thanks to the post above:)
Most important thing to sort on the car first is the music, as the wife was wanting to play the iphone through the stereo..
Some good threads on here giving the info, so.. a blaupunkt blue aux cable was purchased.
removed the stereo to gain access to the rear and these plugs

Removed the 3 pins from the bought lead

And fitted them into the yellow connector, earth in the middle. L/R either side

Works a treat! Routed the lead down and out by the cup holders, though this was a better place than the glovebox. As you cant reach the glovebox safely when on your own in the car.

Can't see how with the lead i bought? (£6) It's just a jack lead. Maybe if i bought one of those expensive Dension type leads i could, but i didn't want to spend that sort of money.
The wife has just popped out in the car, so can't check, but i'd be well happy if my cheap lead worked from the car controls

How did you get the pins out of the aux cable you purchased? Did you manage it without hacking the yellow connector on the cable to bits?
