General Ouch!

Well, most pleased that the Mk2 Punto I bought for my niece for her 17th birthday has just siled through its MOT with no advisories.


So washed & polished her (the Punto, not my niece) & while cleaning the inside out my knob just fell off! The gear knob that is.


In the past its had both gear control cables replaced so I'm guessing that to get to the gear control cables you have to remove the gear stick????


Anyway a good dose of super glue seems to have resolved the problem.

Oh, having not done the job I was only guessing.


Anyway the superglue seems to be holding the knob on now so easy fix.
someone had wrapped paper around the shaft & jammed the knob on. So it was going to fall off at sometime or another.
