windows blocked all pop-ups before and now when i come on pop ups come on again how do i stop them from coming up? thank you

used fire fox when ie packed up. i ahve resently reinstalled xp and i really cant fault i.e y do u all hate it so

pop-ups for a start. and too many apps crash it. like wjen you open pdf files and certain graphic sites (like flash etc)

IE + SP2 = Pop up blocker too
I have used a lot of browsers including avant (because of forum recomendation) and mozilla and I still think IE is best. I have never had a pop up slip through and I like the interface.
Avant imo has way too many buttons and options, I like IE's minimalist approach and avant was no better than IE for reliability imo.

I get an images.v3 pop up but ie blocks so no problem

i was wimmy but 2day im not i think maybe correct me if im wrong that i was getting them when you changed the setting of this bravo site. and today there being blocked again. ha. so everythings sorted. cheers everyone, got google toolbar to sort em out cos i also like ie.

No - you shouldnt have got them yesterday either! Unless network54 decided to put them on as THEY were 2 days late taking the $100 from me
