OT: ipod/itunes help please?

got an ipod video - was just wndering, the tracks and albums on the American itunes store work out slightly cheap than if i buy through the UK one, plus there are albums in America that you cannot getin the UK yet

if i was to buy from the American itunes store they'd still work right? the file format is bound to be the same?

As as for DVD's, you cant buy these from itunes store UK but can USA - woudl these work?

I-tunes store will NOT let you buy from any other country than the UK.

Like Steve said, you can only buy in UK store.

You can only buy in foreign IPod stores if you have a credit card for that country. I live in Holland and have both a Dutch and UK credit card so can buy from both stores. I have several American colleagues who buy from ITunes in the US for that very reason.

also: can i get my own DVDs on my ipod? is there a free DVD ripper program or how can i put the files on the PC to convert them to MP$?

mp3 files you can create in iTunes and for the dvd-s use the above stated apps. you just need an app to take the dvd protection off
