OT - dilema

me and jane have been thinking about sending some pics of jessica to a child modeling agency and setting up a savings account and putting the money from it in there!

what do you think?

Honestly? I think it's very wrong. I really don't like that sort of thing coz it could all end up the way it is in the US. Enjoy your baby with your family and friends and then see what she wants to do as she gets older. My 2p.

thats sort of my oppinion really but i thought it would be best to get a second oppinion

I had thought about this with my little girl but have decided against it as it would mean, even if you did get any work, that there would be a lot of traveling involved. Also there are so many pitfalls, you have to ask your self, for what it would earn, is it really worht the hassel. If you do decide to go ahead, whatever you do, do not pay a single penny to any agency. If they are really interested, they will not ask. Good luck with waht you decide.

well one agency had alreay asked us at christmas but jess was still having bad fits so we declined but now shes beter we thought it would be nice (well jayne did) im kinda on the fence on this although i dont like the way it usualy ends i thought it could be a temerary thing.

we have took some pictures for a port folio but are still trying to decide whats the best course of action

I think it depends on wheather you think your little girl can handle it. There will be a lot of hanging around at photo shots. I know my litle girl is beautiful, and my little boy is a handsome little so and so, with dimples too! But I dont think I would want to subject them to this kind of pressure. I also now for a fact that I couldnt spend hours hanging around at photo shots with tired children and then having to drive miles home again for nothing.
