I know its possible to copy protected DVD's with a program by creating an ISO? Is that right?

Basically I want to do a copy a FM '06 for someone, is it possible and what programs do I need to do it?

Cheers.

He did at first but couldnt get the ISO file to work i think

As someone said above after he has installed there may be protection such as Starforce that will detect if the disc is not a real one. In this case you will need a cd crack from www.megagames.com or www.gamecopyworld.com.
If there is a cd crack/no disc patch then you could just install on the other computer and then use the crack so it doesn't need to use a disc to play and you won't need to bother copying it.
If you still want to copy it use Nero to rip the original dvd to make an image.
Then use Nero to burn the image to dvd-r/rw.
Or if you have a 2 dvd drives (one or both writers) then you can do a 1 to 1 copy again using Nero.
There are other programs such as Alcohol 120 but Ive always used Nero for burning discs and never had a problem.
