When my comp comes out of hibernation u get tot the welcome screen and i have to click on my name, How can i get rid of it? there is only one account on the P.C and its XP.

Also The calculator opens up by itself, no spybots (scanned with 2 different types) and no viruses (again scanned with 2 diff apps)
Any ideas chaps?

Does the calculator start when you login, if so click start > run > type in "msconfig" > go to the startup tab and see if it's listed there, if so go to the registry editor and remove it, if you don't know how just ask me.

As for the hibernation, you could always try going to the control panel > user accounts and changing the way people log on and off, to get rid of the welcome screen, not sure if this will help but worth a try. Or go to control panel > power and go to the hibernation tab and see what settings are there.

no, the calc comes up at silly times ages after boot up, just opens up
Cheers

The logon screen normally happens when you have the .NET framework installed. Boot up normally, at the login screen do ctrl-alt-del a couple of times till it brings up a logon box. Log on with the username of administrator and your administrator password (you do remember it, don't you?). Go to control panel, user accounts, select the asp.net account and select delete account. Reboot, job done.
