Last time I took my Bora to be Serviced (5 months ago), Volkswagen, Loughborough said that my car was perfect, apart from Slightly Worn disks.

I spoke to a few people and they said it was nonsense, however I decided an upgrade was in order since the standard disks are having problems with the 180BHP upgrade :)

The TT's 302mm Disks fit straight onto the Bora (Gotta love VAG) complete with TT calipers.

Cleaned the car, but not the wheels ! Need to get myself some stuff :)

The difference however is unbelievable - Bora's should come with these Brakes as standard ! :)

When you purchase a TT, you can opt for "Upgraded Brakes" package. The originals which are on a TT get chucked away, or as some bloke does, sells them on e-bay as upgrades for other VAG cars.

I think I paid £240 for the lot brand new.

Calipers, Disks, Brake pads, and new hoses (but old ones fit anyway)

I think originals are 280mm on a Bora. They really do make a massive difference though.

Just called VW.

For an 80,000 mile Service + MOT = £325.

Lovely.

Last time it was half that. lol.
