I want to put some tracks on my X-box 360's HDD. As far as i can make out, it will only copy Audio CD's to the HDD, not MP3 CD/DVD's.

Is there a way of making an Audio DVD, to save me lots of time?

does nero do it? If not can you convert to wav files then drag on as data?

@ Al - If i drag them on as *.Wav files, i just get a Data DVD full of wave files, which the 360 won't pick up :(

@ Rob - No need for surround sound, but stereo would be nice...

Daz - what format DVD are you burning. Not sure if this will work on X-box, but it works on all DVD players for me.

Put select UDF format for the DVD, and put .aiff files on it - burn.

Or the second solution is to get iTunes, they have build in option for audio DVDs - not sure they have in PC version tho

The girlfriends' brother plugged his mp3 player into it and dragged the files over like that.

Not sure if this is an option?

@ Sven - I hate i-tunes with a passion, it won't be going anywhere near my PC ;)

@ Chris - Strange...mine won't let me do that, i can't even drop them from my PC to the xbox...

I will try again later...

I thought of that, but i can forsee two problems...

1. The xbox 360's HDD is probably locked, the same as the original xbox's HDD was.

2. It will invalidate the warranty

Still cant get it to work though :(

I can play from the PC, mp3 player, camera etc.. but won't let you copy the files over.

No worries though as i will just strap my portable USB 2.5" HDD to the side of it and use that :)
