Tuning ordering a gsr induction...

yip..gonna be ordering my gsr induction tomorrow........

wot sort of differnts am i going to see with this on my hgt apart from sounding alot better....

and it going on this little baby...:slayer:

Appart from the illision of it going faster and pulling faster, and ofc more noise, nothing. Very minimal power increase (Sub 15BHP).

ul get a couple of extra bhp not sure how much probly about 5bhp.

Cos induction kits are open air filter which are positioned in such a place to draw in cool air from the atmosphere, cooler air means its denser so you can compact and compress more in the cylinder givin you the extra power

You're not likely to see much difference at the top end, even though it is measurable on a dyno. The most noticeable effect will be the torque, providing much greater driveability at low-mid revs.

well me and my maye was on the way back from kent tonight as i had to take him to pick he car up..(bmw 2.0 turbo)..any i was hehind him doing a nice 60mph then the next thing i no he is going some so im like (emmm) o.k so down gose my foot and im after him......any way got up beside him, now im doing 120mph easy and the car was pushing out more so i fort f**k it and whent for it so did my mate i got to 135mhp taking over him easy and he cant beleave how fast the hgt was and then im like...yip now you no bruv.....gsr induction kit should help out abit more as well next time....:slayer:

Don't really agree with any of that, but you will notice an improvement in performance. All of my breathing mods have made a small but noticeable difference.

And it will be loud.

Even i saw a 'lil' diff in performance and got 4 bhp more on a 8v, and 10lb of torque (flywheel)

wot you trying to say im not geting 130mph out of my hgt or you saying i would,nt of taken my mate bmw 2.0..if you own a hgt your self you should no these car a quick for wot they are standed...

any way guys im just waiting for peter to come with the gsr induction.

The standard air intake is at the front so I dont think the air temperature will be any different. Could be looking at closer to +3bhp rather than +5 and it will be very boomy.

There's much more power to be had from junking the precats and fitting a proper tuned length manifold and decent system. But deffo not cheap and insurance will want to know about it.

well had it fitted about 7.30 tonight by peter....i went for the blue as peter dont make the yellow no more....

so here it is..............(GSR)......

next gsr variator this week buy clovertech....260 suppled and fitted..

it cost me £170 for the gsr and he fits it for you as well for free....get one if you have some money saved mate well worth it gives a nice sound and abit more poke if you get me..........

No, I have read LOADS of threads on here, and the majority say their car puts out more power than it should standard, and the gsr has varying results, even though they are all positive.

So I would want to see how much power the car has standard and how much it has after. I'm not suggesting it wouldn't change or be worse, i was just saying I want to see how MUCH MORE power there would be.

Joe Sixpack spends £100+ on a bright coloured noisy intake pipe. Of course its quicker!

He's just spent a wad of cash so hardly likely to admit its all noise and puff with minimal power gains.

Add some fast cams, tuned ECU etc and the loud intake might help a bit, but £100 for 5 bhp is pretty expensive power in my book.
